ATHLETIC FIELDS

Caraway has a large athletic field in the camp area. Also located near the field is a large sand volleyball court. This is a perfect location for large group activities to take place. The athletic field is lighted and use is free to overnight guests.

If you like to wonder through thick forests, sit next to a bubbling brook, or enjoy a view of the sunset, then a Caraway hike is just for you. With numerous trails and improved paths spread throughout the 1,100 acre property, hiking is a popular choice among group or individual activities. Be sure to pick up some trail maps at check-in!

Caraway has two gyms available to guests. One gym is indoors and is heated, and the second is a large, open-air, covered recreation area. Both have basketball areas and are available free to overnight and day guests.

Caraway's paintball course is perfectly suited for groups of 10 to 25. Paintball requires additional fees and is available to overnight or day guests. Markers, masks, paintballs, Co2, and referees are provided by Caraway.

Caraway will staff lake recreation for groups. Lake recreation includes boating (canoes and kayaks), swimming, use of the Blob, use of the Summit, and use of the Water Slide.

Caraway has a newly remodeled swimming pool available. Additional fees and pre-scheduling is required. Caraway will staff lifeguards. Groups are allowed to provide their own certified lifeguards. Call for lifeguard requirements.

Caraway offers Team Building activities to support the growth goals of our day and overnight groups. These activities include low-key challenges right in your own conference room, moderate activities out on the field, or more intense challenges on the built structures of the low ropes course.
Caraway provides excellent, experienced facilitators to lead your group through customized activities and challenges. Our staff are excellent at providing thought-provoking debrief sessions to bring purpose to the process.
Team Building session must be scheduled in advance, and additional fees apply.

Caraway offers an amazing High Ropes Course experience for our day and overnight groups. Where Team Building focuses more on the process of the group, the High Ropes Course allows the focus to shift to the group support of an individual challenge.
Participants will climb over 30 feet in the air and work through a series of sequential challenges. The completion of the course includes a fun ride on a 300 foot long zip line.
The High Ropes Course is only facilitated by trained Caraway staff members, and additional fees apply.

Caraway has 3 zip lines to accommodate all age groups.
Our smallest zip line is only 12 feet off of the ground and is designed specifically for 1st through 4th grade children.
The second zip line is not much higher, but it is a great deal faster. This "medium" zip line is designed for 5th graders and up.
And finally our largest zip line stands over 30 feet in the air. Participants will climb up into the canopy of a tree where they will make their leap!
All ropes course activities are facilitated by trained Caraway staff members. Additional fees and reservation requirements apply to most ropes course activities.
